Descartes GLN: 2FA mandatory October 1, 2025 for Ebi Managers

Descartes Global Logistics Network is continuing our investment in security and user experience by launching Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). As of October 1,2025, this will be mandatory, and the Skip for Now option will not be available.
If you have access to one of the following applications: GLN Doc Tracking, Descartes Carrier Portal (DCP), Descartes WebRNS and/or Descartes eArchive. You will be impacted by this change.
The 2FA is only for GUI (app) access, it does not apply for automated accounts/access. 2FA does not impact automated access like HTTP upload (i.e. all comms profiles are exempt). Automated connectivity is not impacted by 2FA.
Until October 1, 2025 you will see below option after entering your @gln.com username and password. You will have the option of using an authenticator app, text message (rates may apply), or secondary email address for Two-Factor Authentication. Descartes recommends using the authenticator app, which is the most secure option.
